5 out of 5 stars Gamepad works great, why is everyone complaining?   September 9, 2008

I bought this gamepad over two years ago now, and it's still working perfectly. Both analog sticks still work, all button still work, and nothing's come loose or scrapped or otherwise. And I use this gamepad quite frequently on TrackMania, NHL, and other games.

Though I must warn you of one little bug: the Logitech drivers are awful. DO NOT INSTALL THEM. After a year of using the Logitech drivers myself, the controller started going crazy, showing button presses and analog movement when I hadn't done anything. Uninstalling the Logitech drivers and reverting to the regular old Windows plug-and-play drivers solved the issue. Hope that helps all you people posting bad reviews. ;-)

5 out of 5 stars I am loving it   March 3, 2006

I have enjoyed this, my first PC gamepad; simple to install, easy to learn and easy to navigate. My problems have been basic: fingers get tired after long use, but that is due to "maturity" rather than the device.

5 out of 5 stars I must be lucky   February 8, 2006

I must be another person who got a lucky gamepad, because I haven't had any problems with it at all, and I've used it quite intensively. I was hunting for reasons to give this less than five stars, but considering the price and the fact that it does exactly what it's supposed to do, I have nothing to complain about. Maybe the other reviewers just got defective gamepads.

5 out of 5 stars Great gamepad for the money, easy to program...   March 6, 2006

I have purchased this gamepad back in early 2005, and noticed that this is one fine controller, with the PS2-style layout. This makes the controller very easy to program, as well. Most of the buttons are numbered so you can program a game around those numbers on the button. Also, the comfort level is everything I wanted, not like those old controllers that hurt your hands after two hours of gameplay. The only drawback is that this doesn't have a vibration/rumble motor for those impact moments like my XBox controller does, or even a PS2 controller. Needless to say, the controls are very much identical to that of a console gamepad.
